The foundation has no paid staff. Every program we run is held up by volunteers. The most useful contributions are usually a few hours a month on a specific skill, not "I want to help" in the abstract, but "I can set up chairs on Wednesday evenings" or "I can write a grant proposal next month."

Common questions
- Do I have to commit to a regular schedule?
- No. Some volunteers help once for a specific event; others come back monthly. Both are useful.
- Is there a background check?
- For volunteers who work directly with mothers in a Community Support Circle or Newborn Care session, yes. For event setup, grant writing, photography, and most other roles, no.
- What if my skill is not on the list?
- Tell us in the notes field. We get useful offers we did not know to ask for. Recent examples: someone who knew a small print shop willing to donate program handouts, and someone with experience running a library makerspace who offered to host a session there.
